CSPAA is offering a choir summer day camp for kids grades 3-9! Downbeat! will be held in person at Gilroy’s First Baptist Church. From outdoor singing, to ukulele playing, to acting and movement, our choir camp has lots of fun in store! In accordance with CDC guidelines, all singing will take place outdoors, and any indoor activities will take place with masks on and appropriate social distancing.

Choose the morning session (8:30 am-12:30 pm) or afternoon session (1:00-5:00 pm). Pick one elective class and participate in all choir activities! Lunch is not included in half day, but snacks will be provided.

Magical Music Morning
Early drop-off time of 7:30 AM and includes breakfast, movies, and coloring provided by us!
If you need a little more time after Downbeat, you can pick up your student at 6 PM instead of 5:30 PM.
Let’s Move! - with Ms. Dani
Join Ms. Dani as we learn how to move our bodies in a fun way, learn some yoga basics, and play some fun activities together!
Ukulele Under the Sun - with Ms. Kira
Students will have the opportunity to experience a five day ukulele class where they will learn the basics of playing the ukulele.
Acting It Out - with Nima
Are you ready for the stage? Come and learn how to act, some stage combat, and how to cry on cue in our week long acting class!
Music Around the World

Grab your passport and get ready to explore different cultures, their instruments, and the music they make!
The Voice: Collaboration Edition

Explore the creative process of songwriting and producing with your fellow campers!
Get Visual! - with Mr. Michael
What kind of artist are you? Join Mr. Michael as we decide what kind of artist we are and make some fun art together to reflect that!
Tuition and Other Costs
Tuition includes lunch, one camp t-shirt and one plain lanyard. All materials, instruments, and music needed for the electives and concert will be provided. The cost will also covers things like PPE for staff, hand sanitizer, and other things needed to keep the camp experience safe according to CDC guidelines.
